eDc is all set to make a promising start to the new season of 2011- 12 on a high. The cell will be presenting a whole new set of events and activities this year which will attract students and aspiring entrepreneurs from every discipline of study. What could have been more fitting to fulfill its promise than the first upcoming event of Business Simulation Competition later this month which will see students compete in teams of three and the winning team will be invited at National Finals of business simulations at IIM Ahmedabad. This would be an ideal opportunity for students to actually get access to a simulation platform which will test their business idea at a very nascent stage and provide them with real time feedback about the various bugs and shortcoming in their present model alongwith a prospective future growth chart which will be useful for credibility analysis. The winning team would then qualify to the National Finals where they will compete with teams from all over India and gain exposure they have experienced never before amongst the top achievers and venture capitalists who would most likely be there to witness the event. Aspiring entrepreneurs should definitely look forward to this event with great enthusiasm and start gathering a team to put prepare for this competition.

Also later this month would be the Black Series Talk featuring a lot of eminent speakers who will be sharing their expert views on a lot of topics related to various misconceptions and prejudices which are often tagged along with the notion of Entrepreneurship. This would provide an excellent opportunity for students, especially those in their first and second year to increase their horizons about future planning and gain some inside insights in this area.
